Max is the councillor for the Hoylake, Meols and Central West Kirby Ward. Max is also the Deputy Chairman Political of Wirral West Conservative Association for the 2026/27 year. Max sits on the Environment, Climate Emergency and Transport Committee (Chair), Policy and Resources Committee, Licensing Act Committee, Licensing Act Sub Committee, Licensing Panel, and Regulatory and General Purposes Committee. Max is also appointed to the West Kirby Charities.
