Conservative ward teams across Wirral and Wirral West have been opposed to these charges for over three years, Cllrs Max Booth, Andrew Gardner, and Tony Cox celebrated in their Facebook reel and posts: "BIG WIN last night! The parking charges planned for 22 car parks across Wirral – including THREE right here in our ward – have been DELAYED! They won’t go ahead until the Policy & Resources Committee properly considers/reassesses the proposals. This is a massive milestone in the fight – but the battle isn’t over yet! 💪 Huge thank you to every single person who signed our 10,000 plus petition and backed the campaign.
